Alison Hammond Hosts Netflix’s Bridgerton Podcast for Season Four
Alison Hammond, the popular presenter of ITV’s *This Morning*, has been appointed to host the upcoming podcast for the fourth season of Netflix’s acclaimed series, *Bridgerton*. This exciting new role marks a significant departure from her regular television commitments, as she takes on *Bridgerton: The Official Podcast*, produced by Netflix and Shondaland.
Hammond, who co-hosts *The Great British Bake Off* with Noel Fielding, will engage with the cast and creative team across six episodes. The podcast will debut alongside the new season, which premieres on January 29, 2024. As a devoted fan of the *Bridgerton* series, Hammond is set to delve into the latest romantic plots, including the dynamics between the characters played by Luke Thompson and newcomer Yerin Ha.
Thompson reprises his role as Benedict Bridgerton, while Ha plays Sophie Baek, also known as the Lady in Silver. Fans can anticipate a deep dive into their characters and the romantic entanglements that define this season. Details on additional guests for the podcast remain undisclosed, but listeners can expect engaging discussions that explore the series’ latest developments.
The podcast will be available on Netflix in the United States, making it accessible to audiences as they enjoy the first four episodes of the new season. For viewers outside the US, the episodes can be found on YouTube. The first episode will launch simultaneously with the season premiere, with two additional episodes released weekly. Following this, the remaining three episodes will be available weekly after the second part of the season drops on February 26, 2024.
In a move to enhance the *Bridgerton* experience, Netflix has planned various promotional events. Fans can look forward to a live-streamed premiere event in Paris on January 14, 2024, as well as fan events in over 20 countries, including the UK, Australia, Brazil, and Spain. Collaborations with major brands like Dove, Pandora, and COTY are also in the works, designed to elevate the *Bridgerton* experience for its enthusiastic fan base.
Marian Lee, Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix, commented on the series’ impact, stating, “Bridgerton continues to ignite a passionate global fandom, uniting audiences around a once-underserved genre and proving that romantic stories are truly universal.” She expressed excitement about the upcoming season, emphasizing Netflix’s commitment to engaging with fans through unique collaborations and global events.
As the *Bridgerton* franchise prepares for its fourth season, the combination of a dedicated podcast and an array of promotional activities signals a robust strategy to maintain audience interest and expand its fan base. The anticipation for the new season is palpable, as viewers eagerly await the return of the beloved characters and the latest twists in their romantic journeys.
