This fundraising effort took place during the Royal Black Institution’s demonstration, which attracted a large crowd eager to support the cause.
The Royal Black Institution hosted the Sham Fight on August 26, 2023, a traditional event that not only showcases cultural heritage but also serves as a platform for charitable endeavors. This year, the family at the forefront of the fundraising initiative was deeply moved by the commitment of the community and the visitors who turned out in support.
Local families, organizations, and individuals contributed to the total raised through various donations. Many attendees expressed their appreciation for the vital services provided by Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, which plays a critical role in emergency medical situations across the region.
According to the family involved, the support received exceeded their expectations. “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by everyone who attended,” said a family spokesperson. “The funds will make a significant difference in ensuring that the air ambulance service can continue to operate and assist those in need.”
The funds collected during the event will go towards ensuring that Air Ambulance Northern Ireland can maintain its operational capabilities, which are essential for timely medical interventions. The organization is known for providing rapid response to emergencies, significantly improving patient outcomes.
