Adam Frisby and Jamie Corbett Welcome Daughter Through Surrogacy

Adam Frisby, the founder of fashion brand In The Style, and his fiancé Jamie Corbett have announced the arrival of their daughter, born via a surrogate in Connecticut. The couple joyously shared the news on social media, revealing that their baby girl was welcomed into the world on January 16, 2026, weighing 6lbs 15oz.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Frisby expressed his overwhelming emotions, stating, “I don’t even have the words to describe this feeling.” He described the day as “the most incredible day of our lives,” emphasizing their instant love for their daughter. The post included touching images of the couple bonding with their newborn, highlighting the significance of the moment.

Frisby further recounted a unique detail about their daughter’s birth. He noted that she arrived the day following a striking pink sky, which many in their circle had felt to be a special sign. He also shared an intriguing observation from a nurse, who remarked on the “two perfectly placed red marks on her eyelids,” suggesting that it symbolized she had been “kissed by an angel before entering the world.”

The emotional journey to parenthood has not been without its challenges. Frisby and Corbett initially matched with a surrogate in 2022, but faced heartbreak when she suffered a miscarriage. Reflecting on this difficult period, Frisby told the Mail, “It was obviously a lot for her to go through, and then we were kind of back to the start of the process, which was gutting for us after three years.” After several attempts to find a suitable surrogate, they finally met Krista Scelza, who helped make their dreams of fatherhood a reality.

In his tribute to Scelza, Frisby expressed profound gratitude, stating, “What she has done – carrying and protecting our daughter until she could meet her dads – is something we will be forever grateful for.” He described the experience of becoming a parent as surreal and transformative, noting, “We’re running on very little sleep, but we’ve never felt higher in life.”
