Fairport’s Cropredy Convention Returns for 2026 with Exciting Line-Up

Fairport’s Cropredy Convention is set to return in 2026, offering a vibrant festival experience filled with folk and rock music. Following a sold-out event this summer, tickets for the three-day festival, scheduled for August 13-15, 2026, are now available and are anticipated to sell quickly due to a reduced capacity this year. The festival transforms the village of Cropredy into a hub for music enthusiasts, featuring an impressive line-up of both established icons and emerging artists.

This year’s festival will showcase a blend of legendary acts and fresh talent. Notable performers include the pioneering band Soft Machine from Canterbury, acclaimed musician Richard Thompson, and the Mercury Prize-nominated group Turin Brakes. They will be joined by vocalist Zara Phillips and former bandmates Simon Nicol, Dave Mattacks, and Dave Pegg, creating a unique experience for attendees.

The 2026 edition will also highlight contemporary folk artists such as Danny & The Champions of the World, Breabach, and Le Vent Du Nord. Emerging talents like The HAAR, Danny Bradley, Will Pound, and Jenn Butterworth will further enrich the festival. Furthermore, popular past performers such as Hayseed Dixie will return, bringing their energetic rockgrass sound back to the festival after an extended absence.
