Free Shuttle Service Launches from Podgorica to Kolasin Ski Center

Podgorica’s winter tourism is set to receive a boost with the introduction of a free shuttle service from the capital to the Kolasin 1600 ski center. This initiative, launched in collaboration with the Tourist Organization of Podgorica, the National Tourism Organization, and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, aims to enhance tourism offerings and improve the outcomes of the winter season.

The shuttle service will commence on January 15, 2024, operating every Tuesday and Thursday for the next two months. Departures are scheduled at 08:00 from in front of the Hotel Podgorica, located on Svetlane Kane Radević Street. Passengers utilizing the free transport will also receive a discount on their ski passes, further incentivizing visits to the popular ski resort.

Passengers must register for the shuttle service by calling 067 088 572 no later than the day before their intended trip. The registration line operates on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:00.

In addition to the free transportation, the program offers a 20 percent discount on ski passes for minors. However, families should note that children must be accompanied by an adult to utilize the shuttle and ski pass discounts. It is important to mention that users are responsible for their own insurance during the trip.

This initiative reflects an effort to promote winter sports and tourism in Montenegro, making it easier for both locals and tourists to access the ski slopes. By providing this service, the organizers hope to stimulate interest in winter tourism and enhance the overall experience for visitors.
