Bonnie Blue Endorses Reform Party After Arrest in Bali
Adult content creator Bonnie Blue, known off-screen as Tia Billinger, has made headlines by endorsing the UK’s Reform Party shortly after her recent arrest in Bali, Indonesia. In an opinion piece published in The Spectator, she expressed support for the party’s policies, particularly regarding immigration and inheritance tax, following her controversial conduct while visiting the island.
Blue was apprehended on December 7, 2023, during a police operation targeting activities deemed in violation of Indonesia’s strict morality laws. She was reportedly filming content for her website while on the island, an act that has led to her being blacklisted from entering Indonesia for at least ten years, according to the head of the country’s Immigration Department.
Controversial Endorsement and Policy Support
In her article, Blue criticized the UK tax system and voiced support for Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform Party, stating, “The tax system is terrible and it’s smart to leave if you have money.” She resonated with the party’s proposal to deport illegal immigrants, suggesting that the UK has become too accommodating. The Reform Party has suggested it could remove as many as 600,000 illegal residents if it secures power in the next election.
Blue’s endorsement comes at a time when Farage has also pledged to abolish inheritance tax, which she vehemently opposes. She articulated her frustrations about this tax, emphasizing, “You shouldn’t have to pay any inheritance tax, as you’ve already been taxed on that money.” Her comments reflect a growing sentiment among some voters regarding perceived injustices in the tax system.
Arrest and Legal Consequences
Following her arrest, which occurred as part of a police raid on December 7, law enforcement officials found Blue filming with a group of male tourists. Reports indicate that they seized various items, including cameras and other materials allegedly used for producing adult content. While fourteen other tourists were released without charge, investigations into Blue and three associates are ongoing.
During a press conference, Heru Winarko, the chief of immigration, confirmed that Blue and her team had violated their visa conditions by producing content in Bali. He stated, “They have misused the visa they have to make content in Bali,” reinforcing the severity of the situation and the implications for her future travel.
Blue, who gained notoriety for her controversial claims of having slept with 1,000 men in just 24 hours, has faced significant backlash and legal challenges. Her visa was previously revoked in Australia, where authorities expressed concern over her plans to film with underage individuals.
In her article, Blue also touched on personal topics, including her enjoyment of everyday pleasures and her reflections on the past year, which she described as both “the hardest and best.” She anticipates an even more eventful year in 2026, indicating her desire to continue her work despite the recent legal challenges.
The intertwining of Blue’s political endorsement and legal troubles highlights the complex landscape of public opinion and personal branding in the digital age. Her story continues to evolve as she navigates both the political arena and the consequences of her actions in Bali.
