Seventeen-year-old Torran Lambie made headlines on March 17, 2024, by scoring a hat-trick that led Invergordon FC to a landmark victory against Dunipace in the Scottish Cup Second Preliminary Round. This 3-1 win marks the club’s most significant achievement to date, allowing them to progress to the first round of the competition for the first time in their history.

Lambie’s performance was pivotal, and he was named man of the match for his contributions. The young forward, currently on loan from Ross County, expressed his pride in helping the team reach new heights. He remarked, “It is a great feeling, we have been working towards this as a team and it was really good to get through and pull it over the line.”

Lambie emphasized the importance of remaining grounded, expressing that the team is ready to face any opponent, simply grateful to still be in the competition. He stated, “It is a great feeling, obviously we’ll go as far as we can and it is just about working week in and week out.”
