Former England striker Tammy Abraham is set on returning to the Premier League, reportedly targeting a move to Aston Villa. After nearly five years away from England’s top flight, the 28-year-old forward has emerged as a potential addition to Villa’s squad as they look to bolster their attacking options. Currently, Abraham is on loan at Besiktas, who have an obligation to buy him permanently from Roma this summer. Following an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the summer of 2023, he had limited opportunities at Roma and only started 17 matches during a loan spell at AC Milan. Despite these setbacks, his time at Besiktas has showcased his determination and skill, leading to speculation about a return to English football.

A move back to the Premier League could enhance Abraham’s chances of being selected for the England national team, particularly with the upcoming World Cup in mind.
