The passenger noted, “We’re still queuing; flights have been cancelled to Faro, Alicante, and Dublin.”

Birmingham Airport issued a statement acknowledging the disruption. A spokesperson explained, “Following the aircraft incident today, the runway has reopened and operations have resumed. All passengers must check flight details with their airlines and adhere to the guidance provided.” The spokesperson also expressed understanding of the passengers’ frustrations and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
