Norway is experiencing heightened anxiety regarding the potential claims on its Arctic archipelago, Svalbard, as tensions surrounding Greenland escalate. The situation intensified following remarks from former US President Donald Trump, who has expressed a strong desire for the United States to assert control over Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark. This push comes amid concerns that if Greenland falls under US control, it could lead to further territorial ambitions by other global powers, particularly Vladimir Putin and Russia.
