Jersey Telecoms Welcomes New Leadership with Board Appointments

Jersey Telecoms has appointed a new chair and a non-executive director to its board, marking a significant shift in its leadership. Andy Green CBE takes the helm as chair of the telecoms company, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including chief executive of BT Global Services and group chief executive of Logica PLC. Green was awarded a CBE in 2020 for his contributions to the information technology sector and the British space industry.

In his statement, Green expressed enthusiasm for joining the board at such a pivotal time for the company. “JT has a proud history of innovation and service, and I’m delighted to be joining the board at such an exciting time,” he said. He noted that the telecoms sector is evolving rapidly, positioning Jersey Telecoms to lead in advanced digital infrastructure, customer experience, and managed services. Joining Green is Brian FitzPatrick, who has been appointed as a non-executive director. FitzPatrick has held significant leadership positions including chief executive of Vodafone Carrier Services and managing director and president of BT Wholesale. His extensive experience in the telecommunications industry is expected to contribute positively to Jersey Telecoms’ strategy and growth.
