Rising Star DELAROSA Shot Dead in Los Angeles Incident

Marija De la Rosa, an emerging singer known as DELAROSA, was tragically killed in a shooting incident that occurred in Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday, November 22, 2023. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting took place around 01:25 when residents reported hearing gunfire near Bryant Street, east of Tampa Avenue.

Two men allegedly approached the vehicle parked at the roadside and fired multiple shots into it. De la Rosa sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her wounds. Two other individuals inside the vehicle are reported to be in critical condition as well. The police are currently investigating the incident, and the motive behind the attack has not yet been determined. As of now, no suspects have been arrested.

Just weeks before her death, De la Rosa had announced on Instagram that she was working on new music, informing her followers that she was in the studio and that her time was approaching. Her latest single, “No Me Llames,” was released in August, showcasing her growing talent in the music industry.

Friends and acquaintances have begun to pay tribute to the young artist. One friend, Devin Kristiansen, expressed his sorrow, stating that he met De la Rosa as a teenager and she played a crucial role in helping him launch his career during difficult times. After learning of the shooting, he realized that it was De la Rosa who had been involved.

“I will never forget how much she helped me during my most vulnerable moments,” Kristiansen wrote, extending his condolences to her family. As of now, the family has not made any public statements regarding the tragedy.
