Tiny Town Soft Play and Cafe Welcomes Over 600 Visitors in Opening Week

The newly opened Tiny Town Soft Play and Cafe in Chesterfield has made an impressive debut, welcoming over 600 children and adults in its first week. Located on New Beetwell Street, this vibrant venue features farm-themed role play areas and a soft play frame designed for children to engage in physical activity and enhance their developmental skills.

Co-owner Karen Parnham expressed her excitement about the initial response: “It’s so lovely to finally see parents and their little ones come to visit, after working so hard on creating Tiny Town Soft Play & Cafe over the summer.” The opening of this facility has not only attracted families but has also created eight new job opportunities, all of which have been filled by a diverse group of staff members.

Tiny Town represents the third location for its brand, following successful launches in Barlborough and Aston. As the largest of the three sites, it aims to provide a unique experience for visitors. “At Tiny Town Soft Play & Cafe, we offer 90-minute play sessions throughout the week,” Parnham explained. “We have different sessions dedicated for different ages; every child is welcome at Tiny Town.”

To enhance the visitor experience, Tiny Town has implemented a booking system that allows adults to reserve their own tables during play sessions. This helps ensure a stress-free visit, eliminating the chaos of scrambling for tables. Within the play area, a café offers a variety of food, drinks, and snacks for purchase throughout the session. Additionally, a separate café space at the front of the building is accessible to the general public, not just Tiny Town visitors.

Looking ahead, Tiny Town has plans to expand its offerings further. Parnham mentioned the intention to create a party room within the main play area specifically for children’s birthday celebrations. Future improvements will also include replacing the flooring and installing an air flow system to enhance the overall environment for guests.

With its engaging atmosphere and family-friendly approach, Tiny Town Soft Play and Cafe is poised to become a popular destination for families in Chesterfield and surrounding areas.
