According to the Daily Mail, Center Parcs holds an overall rating of 3.5 out of 5 on Indeed, based on five categories: work-life balance, pay and benefits, job security and advancement, management and culture. One anonymous former cleaner at Center Parcs Elveden rated their experience as just one star, stating, “Management made me feel unwanted and very defeated.”

Conversely, a former employee from Longleat shared a more positive outlook, describing their time at the park as “wonderful” and praising the team’s kindness and collaboration. This disparity in experiences highlights the complexity of the workplace culture at Center Parcs.

Concerns Over Working Conditions

Several employees have voiced concerns regarding working conditions, particularly the lack of air conditioning in staff areas. A food and beverage assistant at the Suffolk location recounted enduring high temperatures while working, noting, “The storeroom and customer area had air con. The staff didn’t, and you’re left to combat 30-plus degrees of nonstop service.”

Another employee, a beauty therapist at the original Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest, characterized the environment as “degrading” and “stressful.” They described the unpredictability of daily interactions, stating that “what goes on there is shocking.”

In response to negative feedback, Center Parcs expressed a commitment to improvement. The company stated, “We’re always happy to receive feedback from current and former colleagues, so we would like to hear more about what specifically isn’t positive and how we can improve. Please do not hesitate to contact your local HR department to discuss further.”
