Lovćen and Jedinstvo Remain Unbeaten in Montenegrin Basketball League

In the latest round of the Prva A Crnogorske Lige, both Lovćen and Jedinstvo maintained their unbeaten records after six matches. Lovćen secured its sixth consecutive victory with a strong performance against SC Derbi, winning 77-64. The standout player for Lovćen was Miloš Latković, who contributed significantly with 19 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Support came from Kingsley Perkins, who added 14 points and ten rebounds, while Nikola Ratknić also scored 14 points.

In the match involving Jedinstvo, the team narrowly defeated Dečić with a score of 78-76. For the Bijelo Polje team, Nemanja Knežević led the scoring with 24 points, and Marko Kljajević contributed 19 points along with 15 rebounds. Lazar Vukčević added 12 points to the effort. Dečić’s notable performers included Đorđe Marinović and Aleksandar Bogojević, each scoring 19 points.

In a highly anticipated derby match, Primorje emerged victorious against Mornar with a score of 83-71. The decisive moment came during the third quarter, which Primorje won 27-17. Nikola Rakočević led his team with 21 points, followed closely by Novak Peković with 20 points. Ognjen Mićović added 11 points and assists to seal the win. Mornar’s strongest performers were Charles Austin and Viktor Vujisić, each scoring 13 points, while Petar Krivokapić added 11 points.

In another matchup, Sutjeska triumphed over Vukovi from Zeta with a score of 96-89. The leading scorer for Sutjeska was Kristofer Martin, who netted 23 points. Tadija Tadić contributed 19 points, while Bogdan Bojić and Slobodan Miljanić each scored 13 points. For Vukovi, Andrew Kahausen led with 21 points, followed by Stefon Clinton with 18 points and Luka Kovačević with 17 points.

Teodo also secured a victory, defeating Kotor 94-91 in a closely contested game. Jayden Turner was the highlight for Teodo, scoring 28 points, with Tarik Kul adding 17 points. Both Lazar Mirotić and Miloš Koštić contributed 12 points each. In Kotor’s ranks, Vasilije Jovanović, Mensur Yang, and Novak Obradović each scored 19 points, while Kristijan Johnson contributed 16 points.

In a close contest, Podgorica Bemax edged out Ibar with an 85-83 victory. Newcomer Mašan Vrbica led the scoring for Podgorica with 21 points, followed by Danilo Lacmanović with 18 points and Haris Ćurevac with 15 points. For Ibar, Nenad Vuković stood out with 25 points, while Ostin Braun and both Eldin Huremovic and Matija Kalan contributed 12 points each.

Lastly, Ulcinj defeated Danilovgrad decisively, finishing the game at 79-65. Stefan Perović led Ulcinj with 22 points, while Aleksa Popović and Pavle Mugoša each added 11 points. For Danilovgrad, Vuk Vujačić and Nikola Glendža scored 17 and 14 points, respectively.

The current standings in the league show both Lovćen and Jedinstvo at the top with records of 6-0, followed by Primorje and Sutjeska at 5-1. The full table includes:
