A new indoor sports club and bar, Pitch Manchester, is set to open on September 18, 2023, marking a significant addition to the city’s leisure offerings. Located in the Enterprise City district near Spinningfields, Pitch Manchester is the first venue of its kind in the North of England, providing a unique blend of sports, social interaction, and dining.

This innovative facility is the fifth Pitch venue in the UK and Ireland, following successful launches in cities such as London and Dublin. It features ten state-of-the-art simulator bays equipped with Ultra HD Trackman technology, catering to both novice and experienced golfers. The design includes comfortable seating, viewing screens, and dedicated bar service, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.

Exciting Amenities and Offerings

Visitors to Pitch Manchester can enjoy a variety of interactive games, including unique takes on mini-golf like Party Putt and Cannon Bowl. Additionally, the venue will feature shuffleboard and offer a regular schedule of live sports broadcasts across its expansive 10,000 sq ft space.

The central bar and lounge area, distinguished by its floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Goods Yard square, is designed for socializing, working, or preparing for friendly competitions. The bar will serve a curated menu of Asian-inspired dishes, alongside a selection of premium drinks, including Sapporo, Sagres, Kingfisher Premium Lager, and Yeastie Boys Bigmouth IPA. Cocktails, wine, and smoothies will also be available, enhancing the overall experience.

Music enthusiasts can look forward to live performances and DJ sets throughout the week, with various competitions offering sponsored prizes. Membership options are available, starting at £129 per month, which includes benefits such as discounts on food and drink, the ability to invite guests for complimentary rounds of golf, and access to lessons from top PGA Professionals.

Retail and Community Initiatives

Pitch Manchester will also house retail spaces, including the second store in the UK for fashion and performance wear brand TRENDY GOLF. This shop will carry premium brands such as Lindeberg, Hugo Boss, Manors, and Ralph Lauren. Additionally, Europe’s largest online golf retailer, Clubhouse Golf, will establish a presence within the venue, featuring a dedicated Fitting Bay suite for customers looking to purchase the latest golf products.

Chris Ingham, co-founder of Pitch, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “We’re excited to launch Manchester’s first premium indoor golf experience, giving Pitch a presence in one of the UK’s biggest hubs of sport and culture. We look forward to welcoming Manchester’s likeminded community to become part of the growing innovation for modern golfing at Pitch.”

Moreover, Pitch Manchester aims to support women in the sport through its Modern Ladies Golf initiative. This program offers access to golf training, social activities, and corporate networking events tailored for women pursuing careers in various fields.
