Brothers Arrested After €110,000 Heist in Vogosca

A significant burglary occurred in Vogosca, Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the night of November 24 to 25, 2023. Thieves stole a total of 110,000 KM (approximately €70,000 and $22,000) from a private safe.

The local authorities swiftly apprehended the suspects, identified as brothers Elvira and Zijad Jusufovic from Ilijas, and an accomplice named Senad Dervisevic. The trio is already known to law enforcement and has been dubbed the “Dalton Brothers” by local media, according to the Klix news portal.

Following their arrest, the Municipal Court in Sarajevo ordered a one-month detention for the suspects at the request of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo. This decision was made to prevent the suspects from potentially hiding evidence or committing further crimes while on bail.

During a search of the suspects’ residence in Ilijas, local law enforcement recovered a portion of the stolen money and some of the items taken during the theft.
