Police Investigate Tyre Slashing Incident Near Limavady School

Police in Limavady, Northern Ireland, are investigating a reported incident in which tyres were slashed on 15 vehicles parked in a lot close to a local school. The damage occurred around 10:55 a.m. on January 26, 2026, according to a statement from the local police department.

Shortly after 1:45 p.m., law enforcement received information regarding the vandalism in the small car park located in the Glenview Drive area. The police have since commenced inquiries to identify the individual responsible for the damage.

Sergeant Shannon commented on the investigation, stating, “We believe a man dressed in dark clothing, wearing a hi-vis jacket and a navy hat may be able to help with our enquiries.” Authorities are urging the community to assist in the investigation by reporting any suspicious activity observed in the area.
