Antony Transfers to Real Betis from Manchester United for €22 Million

Manchester United have officially transferred winger Antony to Real Betis, finalizing a permanent move valued at €22 million (£19 million). The deal includes potential add-ons of €3 million (£2.6 million) and features a 50 percent sell-on clause, allowing United to benefit financially should Antony leave Betis in the future.

This transaction follows Antony’s loan to the Seville-based club during the January transfer window, where he revitalized his career after struggling for form at United. In his time with Betis, he made a significant impact by scoring nine goals and providing three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions, contributing to the team’s journey to the UEFA Conference League final, despite their defeat to Chelsea in Wroclaw.
