Nwangene was reportedly bitten while asleep in her home in Abuja. Her friend Hillary Obinna recounted the harrowing moments following the incident, stating that the snake bite “woke her up.” Ezugwu shared details of the emergency response, revealing that hospital staff worked tirelessly to stabilize her condition. “She could not speak, but she could make hand gestures. She was struggling to breathe,” he noted.
