Feud Erupts Between Lawyer and Influencer After Wedding Dispute
A significant fallout between lawyer Carla-Rose Brett and influencer Elle Salagaras has captured public attention, stemming from a wedding dispute that unfolded after a lavish Barbie-themed hens party. The rift, which has unfolded over the past few weeks, saw Elle publicly announce the end of their decade-long friendship via social media, claiming she was uninvited from the wedding through a text message.
The dramatic turn of events began approximately three weeks prior, during a celebratory weekend organized by Carla-Rose for her upcoming wedding. The hens party featured vibrant decorations inspired by the popular Barbie theme, and was attended by Carla-Rose’s close friends and family, including Elle. While details of the dispute remain largely undisclosed, Elle’s social media posts have provided a glimpse into the tension that has arisen.
On November 3, 2025, Elle shared a video on Instagram of herself dancing in a bikini, accompanied by a pointed caption that read, “I’m okay with being the villain in your story because you’re the loser in mine.” In response to inquiries from her followers regarding the seemingly light-hearted video, Elle revealed that she had been removed from the wedding guest list after contributing significantly to the hens weekend, including covering costs for business class flights.
Elle’s comment, which has since been deleted, highlighted her sense of betrayal, stating, “Got uninvited from the wedding (as a bridesmaid) in a TEXT after she let me fund her whole hens weekend.” The reason for their falling out remains unclear, as both women have refrained from publicly discussing the specifics of their disagreement. The fallout has also led to both women unfollowing each other on Instagram.
Tensions appeared to escalate further as Carla-Rose prepared for her bridal lunch at the harbourside restaurant Alegre. On the same day, Elle posted a meme on Instagram that read, “Those who talk about you are jealous of you,” suggesting that the feud continues to occupy their thoughts amid wedding preparations.
Attempts to obtain comments from both parties have been met with silence; Carla-Rose responded with a polite “no comment” when approached for her perspective on the situation. Similarly, Elle has chosen not to speak publicly regarding the feud.
This incident is not the first public dispute for Elle Salagaras. Earlier in March 2025, she experienced a falling out with another influencer, Cindy Kilian, over a disagreement concerning a restaurant. Elle’s tendency to air grievances on social media has sparked discussions about the complexities of friendships in the influencer sphere, where public perception often intertwines with personal conflict.
As the wedding date approaches, it is evident that the rift between Carla-Rose and Elle remains unresolved. With public interest piqued, this feud serves as a reminder of the often tumultuous nature of relationships in both personal and public domains.
