Highland Business Women Awards 2025 Celebrate Female Entrepreneurs
The Highland Business Women Awards 2025 were held on March 14, 2025, at the Kingsmills Hotel, celebrating the achievements of female entrepreneurs in the region. Sponsored by SJ Highland Construction, the event marked a significant milestone as it coincided with the 30th anniversary of the awards, highlighting the impact women have made in various business sectors.
The ceremony recognized outstanding contributions across multiple categories. The winners included Hat Hire Highlands, awarded the title of New Business of the Year, sponsored by Business Gateway Highlands. This accolade reflects the innovative spirit of new enterprises in the Highland community.
In the category of Sustainable Enterprise, Highland Sustainable Enterprise Award, sponsored by Serimax, was presented to Turas Hotels. This recognition underscores the importance of environmentally responsible business practices in the region.
The Team of the Year award went to Sarah Jane Befriending and Assistance, showcasing the collaborative efforts within local organizations. The award was sponsored by Partners&, emphasizing the support of community-centric businesses.
Another highlight was the Young Businesswoman of the Year, awarded to Hannah Webster and sponsored by the Springfield Group. This honor illustrates the promising future of young female leaders in the Highland area.
The Thriving Through Challenges Award, sponsored by Highlife Highland, was given to My Primary & Secondary Tutor, acknowledging resilience in the face of adversity. This organization has demonstrated exceptional commitment to education and support for students.
In the charitable sector, the Charitable Organisation of the Year was awarded to RASASH, with sponsorship from Stagecoach. This recognition highlights the vital role of charity work in fostering community well-being.
The Individual Team Contributor Excellence Award, sponsored by Dolphin Spirit, went to Cath Coleman. Her outstanding contributions to her team have made a significant impact within her organization.
