Cyclist Found Unconscious in Stroud Hospitalized with Serious Injuries

A cyclist in his 60s was found unconscious by the roadside in Stroud on November 10, 2023, and is currently hospitalized with serious injuries. The man was discovered by members of the public opposite the BP Garage on London Road and was subsequently taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses report that the cyclist had departed from Five Valleys at approximately 09:15. Police believe he may have been unconscious for around 30 minutes before being located at approximately 10:00. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a distinctive yellow jacket, a helmet, and a backpack, along with blue trousers.

According to Gloucestershire Police, the circumstances surrounding how the cyclist sustained his injuries remain unclear. Investigators are currently working to establish the events that led to this incident.
