Abbey College Cambridge Celebrates Stellar A Level Results

Students at Abbey College Cambridge are celebrating impressive academic achievements, with more than half of the A Level results awarded as A* or A grades. The results, released on August 14, 2025, highlight the college’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.
Significant Academic Achievements
This year, a remarkable 80 percent of grades awarded were in the A* to B range. Notably, every A Level subject in art, psychology, and languages received grades between A* and B. This consistent performance showcases the college’s robust educational framework and the hard work of its students and staff.
Additionally, students pursuing medicine and dentistry secured 26 offers, with all 12 students aiming for medical degrees successfully progressing to university. The students will be attending some of the UK’s most prestigious institutions, including the London School of Economics and Political Science, Imperial College London, and University College London.
Commitment to Student Development
Dr. Elena Hesse, principal of Abbey College Cambridge, expressed her enthusiasm regarding the results. “We are delighted to once again celebrate outstanding A Level results and highly sought-after university offers at Abbey College Cambridge,” she stated. “These results reflect the dedication, passion, and commitment of our students and staff.”
Dr. Hesse emphasized that beyond gaining places at prestigious universities, the college focuses on developing students’ potential and enhancing their employability in a competitive global landscape. “Upon completing their academic journey with us here at Abbey College Cambridge, they are prepared to make a positive impact in the world, to engage thoughtfully with global challenges, and to face the future with wisdom and resilience,” she added.
Abbey College Cambridge, located at Homerton Gardens in Cambridge, serves both UK and international students. The institution is recognized not only for its academic achievements but also for its enriching extracurricular programs and supportive pastoral care, which contribute to the overall development of its students.
The success of this year’s cohort reinforces Abbey College Cambridge’s status as a leading educational institution dedicated to fostering academic excellence and preparing students for future challenges.
