New Dermatology Clinic in Surrey Launches Advanced Acne Treatments

A new dermatology clinic focused on advanced acne treatments is set to open its doors in Surrey this month. The Skin Investment Clinic, founded by skin health specialist Holly Mason, will be located at the Hampton Estate, situated between Guildford and Farnham. This facility aims to provide comprehensive support for individuals facing various skin conditions, particularly acne.
The clinic is designed to create a “patient-first environment,” with a mission to assist teenagers and their parents in navigating acne challenges. A spokesperson for the clinic emphasized the profound impact acne has on individuals, stating, “Acne sufferers – teens and adults alike – find the impact goes far beyond the skin itself; affecting confidence, social life, and even daily activities.”
A recent study conducted by the clinic in collaboration with Luna, a health and wellness app aimed at teenagers, highlighted alarming statistics. The findings revealed that nearly one in three teens is reluctant to attend school due to acne, with almost 70 percent indicating that it significantly affects their daily lives.
Comprehensive Treatment Options
The Skin Investment Clinic adopts both medical and holistic approaches to treating acne. According to the NHS, approximately 95 percent of individuals aged 11 to 30 experience acne to some degree. With the new school term approaching, it is more crucial than ever to ensure that young people have access to effective and safe treatment options. The clinic aims to address this need, particularly as 32 percent of young people report that skin concerns deter them from attending school.
The clinic features a dedicated minor surgery theatre for dermatological procedures, state-of-the-art laser technology for advanced skin treatments, and two fully equipped clinic rooms. In addition to acne treatments, the clinic offers services such as skin cancer and mole checks, minor surgeries for benign skin lesions, skin tags, and warts, as well as treatment for chronic and inflammatory skin conditions. Furthermore, it provides tailored acne treatment programmes that combine medical, nutritional, and lifestyle support, alongside aesthetic and cosmetic procedures.
Previously located in the Tilford area, the new clinic represents an expansion into a larger, upgraded facility. The Skin Investment Clinic also operates clinics in prestigious locations such as Harley Street in London, as well as Stockbridge in Hampshire and Marlborough in Wiltshire.
As the clinic prepares for its opening, it aims to become a vital resource for those seeking effective solutions for acne and other skin conditions. With a commitment to patient care and innovative treatment strategies, the Skin Investment Clinic is poised to make a significant impact in the realm of dermatology.
