Wrights The Bakery to Revamp All 14 Locations Ahead of Centenary
The bakery brand formerly known as Wrights has officially rebranded to **Wrights The Bakery** and announced plans to refurbish all 14 of its pie shops. Transformations have already occurred at locations in **Hanley** and **Leek**, with the **Newcastle-under-Lyme** shop scheduled to receive its makeover next week.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy as Wrights prepares to celebrate its centenary in **2026**. The renovations are aimed at modernizing the brand while maintaining its commitment to quality and local roots.
Future Plans for Renovations
In addition to the completed refurbishments, branches in **Wolstanton** and **Tunstall** are set to be updated in **2025**. The remaining shops, located in **Longton**, **Shelton**, **Northwood**, **Stoke**, **Burslem**, **Fenton**, **Meir**, **Kidsgrove**, and **Chell**, will follow suit in **2026**.
Jason Manley, the brand director of Wrights, expressed pride in the company’s heritage in **Stoke-on-Trent**. He stated, “We are incredibly proud of our roots in Stoke-on-Trent and our long-standing commitment to the local high street. This refresh is about making Wrights The Bakery even more relevant to today’s customers while continuing to deliver the delicious, high-quality foods that people know and love.”
Significance of the Rebranding
The rebranding to **Wrights The Bakery** is more than just a name change; it represents a renewed focus on customer engagement and satisfaction. As the company approaches its centenary, it aims to create a vibrant atmosphere that resonates with both long-time patrons and new customers.
The refresh is seen as an exciting opportunity for the brand, marking the beginning of a celebratory year in **2026**. Manley emphasized that the renovations are part of a larger vision to enhance the shopping experience while honoring the bakery’s rich history in the community.
The **Compleat Food Group**, which owns Wrights, supports these initiatives as part of its commitment to fostering local businesses and ensuring their relevance in a competitive market. With these updates, Wrights The Bakery hopes to solidify its position as a beloved staple in the local culinary landscape, setting the stage for a successful future.
