Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is currently hospitalized and on life support due to a brain bleed stemming from an accident last month. This situation has led to the cancellation of his upcoming performances, as reported by TMZ. Sources familiar with Frehley’s health indicate that he is on a ventilator, and unfortunately, his condition is not showing signs of improvement.

The incident occurred in late September while the 74-year-old musician was working on the next installment of his covers album series, Origins Vol. 4. On September 26, his fan community was informed about the fall that necessitated his hospital visit. Initially, the message conveyed a sense of reassurance, stating, “Ace had a minor fall in his studio, resulting in a trip to the hospital. He is fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time.” Consequently, Frehley was forced to cancel his performance at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California, scheduled for the same day.

Fans were encouraged to attend the fair to support his fellow performers, Quiet Riot and Vixen, with hopes of Frehley resuming his tour and completing his album. Unfortunately, updates throughout October revealed that Frehley’s health continued to decline, leading to the cancellation of his planned performances for the remainder of 2025. His social media team announced, “Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates.”

These cancellations included several shows intended to promote his latest solo album, 10,000 Volts. Despite the setbacks, one performance scheduled for February 2024 at the Aamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California, remains on the calendar, pending further developments in Frehley’s health.

Fans and the music community alike are holding their breath for news regarding the iconic guitarist’s recovery as they reflect on his contributions to rock music over the decades. As updates emerge, it is clear that Frehley’s condition will continue to be closely monitored by both medical staff and his dedicated supporters.
