Baking entrepreneur Brooke Bellamy was seen enjoying her first outing with her newborn daughter, Colette, in Brisbane on October 27, 2025. The public appearance came just weeks after giving birth, and Bellamy took the opportunity to spend quality time with her family at a local park.

Accompanied by her husband, Justice, and their eldest daughter, Bellamy appeared relaxed as she carried Colette in a baby sling. The outing marked a significant moment for the baking queen, who is known for her popular cookie recipes and recent controversies surrounding her work. Dressed casually in a maroon button-up shirt and jeans, she completed her look with sandals and a gold ‘B’ pendant necklace.

Returning to Public Life

Earlier in the day, Bellamy visited one of her bakeries, Brooki Bakehouse, following a month-long maternity leave. She opted for a chic outfit, featuring a white shirt and black trousers, paired with brown sandals. Her sleek look was complemented by a low bun secured with a beige scrunchie, further illustrating her effortless style.

During the park visit, Justice was seen actively engaging with their eldest daughter, pushing her on the swing while Bellamy observed with affection. This family outing highlights a more personal side of the entrepreneur, who has been under scrutiny for accusations of recipe plagiarism.

Controversies Surrounding Her Career

Earlier this year, Bellamy faced serious allegations from Nagi Maehashi, the founder of RecipeTin Eats, who accused her of copying recipes from her best-selling cookbook, Bake With Brooki. The claims ignited significant online backlash, forcing Bellamy to issue multiple statements defending her culinary creations.

“While all of these recipes are personal to me, I cannot say that I have invented the cookies, cupcakes, brownies, or cakes in the recipe book. They are all inspired from somewhere and someone before me,”

Bellamy explained in a video addressing her followers. She attributed her greatest influences to her mother, emphasizing the importance of familial connections in her baking journey.

The controversy did not end there, as American baker Sally McKenny also alleged that Bellamy used her vanilla cake recipe without proper credit. McKenny stated, “Original recipe creators who put in the work to develop and test recipes deserve credit—especially in a best-selling cookbook.”

Despite the ongoing scrutiny, Bellamy has maintained that while her recipes may not be entirely original, they reflect her personal interpretations and experiences. “Baking has leeway for creativity, but much of it is a precise science and is necessarily formulaic,” she stated, defending the similarities that often arise in recipe creation.

The outing with her family may serve as a welcome reprieve from the pressures of her professional life. As Bellamy navigates both motherhood and her baking career, the public continues to follow her journey with great interest.
