Scott Wolf Withdraws Restraining Order Against Kelley Wolf
Scott Wolf has officially withdrawn a restraining order against his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, as she seeks mental health treatment. The decision came during a court hearing in Utah, where the 57-year-old actor made an oral request to drop the legal restrictions in place against Kelley, who is 49. According to court documents reported by People, the case has been dismissed entirely, rendering any previous protective orders invalid.
Legal actions between the couple have escalated recently, coinciding with Kelley’s transfer to a new mental health facility on October 14, 2025, her 49th birthday. That same day, Scott shared a nostalgic photograph of the couple on social media, captioned, “Happy birthday to you,” suggesting a possible shift in their relationship dynamics.
The couple, who share three children—Jackson, aged 16, Miller, aged 13, and Lucy, aged 11—have faced various challenges since announcing their separation. Scott filed for divorce in June, stating, “After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life.” He emphasized that their children remain his top priority, requesting privacy during this transition.
Kelley, who has a background in reality television and currently works as a life coach, responded by clarifying that she had initiated their separation nearly a year prior. In her statement, she noted, “I have been grieving this marriage for years,” and expressed her readiness to embrace the changes in her life. Kelley has also indicated that she is focused on her mental health, stating in court documents, “I will be getting professional help starting on September 12, 2025.”
The recent legal turmoil includes incidents where Kelley was detained by authorities in Utah last June during an Instagram Live session. At that time, she expressed her disbelief at being taken into custody, asserting that she was not in crisis and was, in fact, “happier than [she has] ever been.” She described the experience as one of the darkest moments of her life, urging her followers to practice kindness.
Kelley faced further legal issues in August when she was arrested for harassment through electronic communication, leading her to participate in a September court hearing where she reiterated her commitment to improving her mental health.
Scott Wolf, best known for his role on the popular television series Party of Five, has also appeared in various other TV shows and films, contributing to his long-standing career in the entertainment industry. The couple’s ongoing legal and personal struggles highlight the complexities of navigating mental health issues amidst familial challenges.
As both Scott and Kelley continue to prioritize their children during this difficult chapter, their public statements reflect a desire to move forward positively and constructively.
