Data Transmission Halted at Air Quality Station in Pljevlja

Data transmission from the air quality monitoring station at Gagović’s Estate in Pljevlja has been interrupted since December 10, 2023, at 13:00. The Environmental Protection Agency reported the issue, stating that the disruption is due to a problem with the internet connection rather than a malfunction of the measuring equipment.

Officials from the Centre for Ecotoxicological Testing and Research (CETI) responded promptly to the situation. Upon inspection, they confirmed that all measuring instruments are operational and that the power supply remains stable. The main issue was identified as insufficient signal flow, which is preventing the collected data from being transmitted to the central server.

Despite attempts to reset the data transmission system, the connection has yet to be restored. The agency clarified that all measurements continue to be collected and securely stored in the internal memory of the station.

Once the internet connection is reestablished, all accumulated data will be transferred to the server and made accessible to the public. The Environmental Protection Agency is actively working with the internet service provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

This interruption highlights the importance of reliable internet connectivity for environmental monitoring and data transparency.
