Four London Hotels Earn Prestigious Michelin Keys in 2025

Four hotels in London have received distinguished Michelin keys, a recognition that highlights the finest accommodations in the UK and Ireland. This announcement was made as part of a broader rollout of 19 new keys awarded to hotels across the region. The Michelin keys, which were introduced in 2023, serve as a hallmark of luxury and quality, complementing the Michelin stars that have long represented excellence in dining.

Michelin keys are designated based on five key factors: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the guest experience. With this year’s awards, hotels in London have once again proven their status as leaders in the luxury hospitality sector.

London’s Award-Winning Hotels

The prestigious awards went to several prominent establishments in the capital. Notably, both The Lanesborough and The Ritz London received two keys for the first time. The Lanesborough, located on Hyde Park Corner, has been celebrated for its exceptional offerings, including round-the-clock butler service and an extravagant spa. Michelin described it as “a destination in itself for luxury lovers.”

Meanwhile, The Ritz, often referred to as iconic, has set the standard for luxury hospitality for over a century. Michelin highlighted its opulent Louis XVI aesthetics and prime location alongside Green Park, noting that it remains “as much a symbol as it is a physical establishment.”

In addition to these two key recipients, two other hotels also earned awards. At Sloane in Chelsea received one key, praised for its confident blend of bold patterns and historic charm infused with Parisian flair. The Adria in Kensington was also awarded one key, noted for its serene, stylish interiors and personalized service that impressed visitors in past reviews.
