Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will retain their royal titles, despite their father, Prince Andrew, relinquishing his titles and honours following the Epstein scandal. Both daughters of Prince Andrew are expected to continue their roles within the royal family, reflecting a desire from both Andrew and King Charles III to maintain their royal status.

The royal family is reportedly supportive of Beatrice and Eugenie, allowing them to participate in traditional gatherings such as Christmas celebrations at Sandringham and other royal events. Last Christmas, Princess Beatrice, aged 37, attended a service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the King’s estate in Norfolk, while her father was absent due to controversies surrounding his connections with an alleged spy.

Princess Beatrice, ninth in line to the throne, serves as an adviser for Afiniti, a company specializing in artificial intelligence software. She is also a co-founder of The Big Change Charitable Trust and holds several royal patronages, including the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Similarly, Princess Eugenie, who is 12th in line, has made significant contributions to various charitable organizations. She is a patron of the Elephant Family and the European School of Osteopathy, and she co-founded the Anti-Slavery Collective. Earlier this year, Eugenie, aged 35, joined The King’s Foundation as a mentor for its 35 under 35 network of changemakers, and she is also a director at the contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth in London.

Both sisters are married and have children. Beatrice’s marriage to property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place in a private ceremony during the pandemic in 2020, attended by her grandparents, the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Meanwhile, Eugenie’s wedding to wine merchant Jack Brooksbank was a grand event held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in October 2018, attended by a blend of royal and celebrity guests.

As the royal family navigates its future, the retention of titles for Beatrice and Eugenie signifies a commitment to upholding their roles within the monarchy, even as their father steps back from public life.
