In an interview with *British Vogue*, the 21-year-old actress, known for her role in *Stranger Things*, discussed her decision to keep her daughter out of the public eye following her and husband Jake Bongiovi’s adoption announcement in August 2023.

During the interview, Brown responded to a question about her daughter’s personality but quickly clarified her stance on privacy with “fiery conviction.” She stated, “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself. It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly.”

Brown reiterated her commitment to safeguarding her child’s privacy, noting that her daughter is “so little” right now. She explained that as parents, their responsibility is to shield her from the media attention that often surrounds celebrities. “We have no plans to share her name until she’s ready to decide for herself,” Brown added.

She articulated her desire to balance her career as an actress and producer with her personal life, stating, “Of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself, but I also find it’s so important to start a family.”

Both she and Bongiovi come from large families, and Brown expressed a strong desire for her children to have siblings. “Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ So that was his thing. And my thing was, ‘I really want a family. I want a big family.’”

The couple officially tied the knot in a secret ceremony in May 2024, attended by close friends and family, followed by a larger celebration in Italy later that year.
