A car accident occurred on October 24, 2023, on the Cetinje-Podgorica road, resulting in one individual sustaining injuries. The incident took place near the Mekavac Tunnel shortly before 16:00 local time.

The driver, identified as Z.M. from Budva, reportedly collided with a protective barrier under circumstances that are still being investigated. Following the crash, emergency services transported the injured driver to the Health Medical Centre in Cetinje for medical attention.

Fortunately, there were no traffic disruptions reported as a result of the accident, allowing vehicles to continue passing through the area without significant delays. Authorities are currently looking into the cause of the collision and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
