Woman Arrested on Murder Charges After Children Found Dead

A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the tragic deaths of two children at a residence in Stafford, Staffordshire. Emergency services received a call from paramedics to a home on Corporation Street at approximately 07:30 on Sunday, October 12, 2023. Upon arrival, they pronounced both children dead at the scene.

Staffordshire Police have confirmed that the next of kin have been notified and are currently receiving support from officers. The identity and ages of the children have not yet been disclosed.
