Molly-Mae Hague Reflects on Early Motherhood and Future Plans
Molly-Mae Hague, known for her appearance on *Love Island*, has expressed mixed feelings about starting her family at a young age. The 26-year-old television personality shared her thoughts in an interview with *Cosmopolitan*, revealing that she sometimes wonders if she should have waited a few more years before welcoming her daughter, Bambi, now two years old.
In the candid conversation, Hague discussed the pressures she feels regarding expanding her family. She stated, “I feel a real pressure around it,” as she contemplates giving Bambi a sibling. The influencer, who has been in a relationship with fellow *Love Island* contestant Tommy Fury, also 26, since 2019, emphasized the importance of sibling relationships, drawing from her own bond with her older sister, Zoe.
Hague reflected on her decision to become a mother at 23, admitting that while she has no regrets, she might have considered delaying motherhood. “I felt like I’d lived so much life by 23,” she said. “Tommy and I were in an incredible place, and to have something that was half him, half me, just felt really special.”
While she cherishes her role as a mother, Hague also expressed a desire for more downtime. She noted that she misses the days where she could simply relax, which she found beneficial for her mental well-being.
The star has openly discussed the challenges of parenting, particularly the transition from a newborn to a toddler. “I would take a toddler over a newborn any day,” she stated, appreciating the communication and humor that comes with this stage of development. She described Bambi as determined, with her own strong preferences, and acknowledged that her daughter sometimes “loves to push the buttons.” Despite the challenges, Hague expressed pride in Bambi’s strong personality.
Recently, Hague’s family life garnered attention after a humorous incident involving Bambi, who was reported to have “plotted” to bite her nursery friends, Emily and Dory. This amusing moment resonated with fans, who reacted positively on social media, showcasing Hague’s ability to connect with her audience through relatable parenting experiences.
In her social media posts, Hague often shares snippets of her lavish lifestyle, including travels and family moments, which have sparked conversations among followers. Despite occasional criticism regarding her parenting style, she continues to engage with her audience, balancing personal anecdotes with glimpses into her life as a mother and influencer.
As she navigates the complexities of early motherhood, Molly-Mae Hague remains focused on both her family and her career, aiming to create a fulfilling environment for Bambi while pondering the possibilities of adding to her family in the future.
