Discover Five Bold Jewellery Trends from London Fashion Week SS26
London Fashion Week (LFW) has concluded for the last time in 2025, showcasing an array of vibrant jewellery trends that are set to dominate the spring/summer 2026 season. As the fashion world shifts its focus to Milan and Paris, the bold accessories presented in the English capital warrant attention. Designers made a statement this season, employing eye-catching pieces that elevate their collections to new heights. Notably, jewellery trends included an emphasis on chains and charms, bold beads, oversized designs, floral motifs, and jewel tones.
Chains and Charms Make a Statement
The charm trend has emerged as a significant element for the 2026 season, with brands like Toga, Chopova Lowena, and Di Petsa incorporating playful and personalized charm pieces into their collections. Tove, known for its sophisticated designs, collaborated with the renowned jewellery house Pandora to explore themes of “neurodiversity and individuality.” This collaboration showcased charmed pieces from Pandora’s latest Talisman collection, inspired by ancient symbolism representing love, resilience, and courage.
At Yuhan Wang‘s ‘Roses of Armor’ show, the designer drew inspiration from David Lynch’s 2001 film, *Mulholland Drive*, showcasing armour-inspired silhouettes paired with bold charm necklaces featuring whimsical trinkets like dice and cars, encapsulating Hollywood’s surrealism.
Bold Beads Take Centre Stage
Another noteworthy trend is the use of bold beads, which promise to add drama to any outfit next spring. Susan Fang‘s ‘Air Evolution’ collection, presented at the Barbican Centre, featured ethereal designs adorned with striking beaded accessories. These statement pieces ranged from chandelier-like cascading beads to vibrant chokers, enhancing the romantic nature of her sheer skirts and dramatic dresses.
At the Nanushka show, beading was reimagined in a more sophisticated context. The designer opted for elegant, minimalist tailoring enhanced with bold, clustered necklaces that elevated the overall aesthetic into high-fashion glamour.
Oversized Designs Create Impact
Indian-born designer Anamika Khanna made a memorable debut at LFW, holding her show in the iconic toy store, Hamleys, on Regent Street. Her collection showcased chunky jewellery, featuring bold gold cuffs and oversized bracelets that combined smooth, rounded forms with textured elements, creating a striking effect.
Similarly, Richard Quinn presented a collection that embraced unapologetic glamour, with chunky silver earrings, including oversized studs and clustered forms, providing a maximalist finishing touch to sculpted silhouettes. The show was notably opened by supermodel Naomi Campbell, adding to the allure of the event.
Whimsical Floral Interpretations
Florals may be a staple for spring, but designers have approached this motif with fresh interpretations. Simone Rocha delivered a collection reminiscent of a modern fairytale, with sequin-encrusted gowns and whimsical floral motifs. Jewellery played a crucial role in enhancing this narrative, with sculptural floral necklaces, chokers, drop earrings, and headbands adding a polished elegance that blurred the line between couture and costume.
Paul Costelloe also drew inspiration from the past, presenting the ‘Boulevard of Dreams’ collection, which celebrated the glamour of 1967. His designs included chunky, sculptural jewellery from Ivy J Studio, featuring oversized floral earrings in vibrant hues that complemented the retro silhouettes of the collection.
Jewel Tones Signal a Shift
As the spring/summer 2026 season approaches, there is a clear move away from minimalist accessories. Designers like Daniel Fletcher have embraced bold jewel tones in their collections. The ‘Edge of Seventeen’ show, which took cues from Sloane Ranger dress codes, featured dazzling chokers in a variety of rich shades that added a decadent touch to classic pieces.
Celebrating a decade in business, Rixo infused its signature 1970s-inspired exuberance into its collection, showcasing statement jewellery in deep emerald greens, earthy browns, and sapphire blues. This vibrant palette perfectly complemented the playful spirit of the collection.
The trends observed at London Fashion Week SS26 highlight an exciting evolution in jewellery design, characterized by boldness and creativity. As we move forward into Milan and Paris, these trends promise to influence the global fashion landscape, setting the stage for a season filled with individuality and expression.
