Ilija Pješčić Appointed Interim CEO of Luka Bar Port Authority
The Board of Directors of Luka Bar AD has appointed Ilija Pješčić as the interim Chief Executive Officer following the expiration of the previous executive director’s four-year term. This decision aligns with legal requirements and aims to ensure continuity in leadership during a critical period for the company.
Pješčić, a law graduate, has successfully led the company for the past four years. His tenure has been marked by navigating challenging and unpredictable business conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in his leadership style. The announcement from Luka Bar highlighted the importance of maintaining strong leadership as the company prepares for upcoming changes in accordance with Montenegro’s new Company Law, which takes effect on January 1, 2026.
