The Remembrance Sunday service at Molleston Baptist Church is set to take place on November 9 at 10:45 AM. The service will be led by Rev’d Norman Gilbert from Cosheston, following a tradition that honors those who have served in the armed forces.

Last week, the service was conducted by Rev’d Rob James of Pembroke, with the musical accompaniment provided by Mrs. Elizabeth Vaughan as organist. The church extends a warm invitation to all members of the community to attend and participate in this meaningful observance.

Community Participation Encouraged

In keeping with the spirit of remembrance, the service will include prayers and reflections, allowing attendees to pay tribute to those who made sacrifices. Following the Remembrance service, a Communion service will also be held, offering a time for fellowship and reflection.

The church’s commitment to inclusivity is evident, as they encourage everyone to join, fostering a sense of community and shared remembrance. The service will serve as a reminder of the importance of honoring the past while coming together in support of one another.

As the date approaches, the church invites everyone to consider the significance of Remembrance Sunday and to participate in what promises to be a heartfelt gathering.
