Tesco’s £28 Handbag Stuns Shoppers with Designer-Like Appeal

Tesco shoppers are expressing excitement over a new handbag that closely resembles a designer style while offering a significantly lower price. The supermarket’s F&F Clothing line has introduced the £28 SACHA Faux Suede Studded Shoulder Bag in Brown, which has gained popularity on social media platforms, especially TikTok. This trendy accessory mirrors the look of Clare V.’s Lune Choco Bar w/ Studs, priced at £390.
The F&F bag has been highlighted by TikTok user @fashionbychlo_, who praised it as “gorg” and encouraged followers to “run to your local Tesco.” Comments from fans included enthusiastic reactions such as “STUN” and “Loveee.” Both the F&F and Clare V. bags feature metallic studs, gold-coloured hardware, and a similar curved design, making them suitable for various outfits.
Despite the similarities, there are notable differences between the two bags. The Clare V. design, crafted from Italian leather in Los Angeles, boasts a richer brown shade and larger studs. Additionally, it comes with a two-year warranty, unlike the Tesco version, which is made from polyester.
The product description for the F&F bag states: “Featuring eye-catching metallic studs across the front, this faux suede shoulder bag is sure to add a striking edge to your accessory collection.” In contrast, the Clare V. bag’s description highlights its functionality: “The Lune holds your phone, keys, small wallet and sunnies, and a tiny bit of ‘tude.”
Shoppers seeking affordable alternatives are also considering options from Primark. The retailer has released a £14 Studded Bowler Bag, which features a soft faux suede exterior and various sized mixed metal studs. Its description emphasizes that it adds a bold yet stylish touch to any outfit. Another option is the £11 Studded Rectangular Shoulder Bag, designed for versatility and adorned with gold and silver-toned studs.
With the rise of social media influencing fashion trends, affordable alternatives are becoming increasingly sought after. The success of the F&F bag demonstrates how budget-friendly fashion can appeal to a wide audience, making style accessible to more shoppers.
As customers continue to share their finds online, it is clear that the demand for stylish yet affordable accessories is growing, prompting retailers like Tesco and Primark to expand their offerings in this competitive market.
