SC Derbi Falls Short Against Borac in Season Opener

Basketball club SC Derbi began its new season in the ABA League on a disappointing note, suffering a narrow defeat against Borac from Čačak. The match, held on September 30, 2023, at the MTEL Dvorana Morača, concluded with a score of 79-76 in favor of the visiting team.

Borac maintained a lead for most of the game, showcasing strong performance throughout the first three quarters. The score at the end of the first quarter was 19-17, followed by a 22-17 lead in the second quarter, pushing Borac ahead. In the third quarter, however, SC Derbi began to close the gap, finishing that segment with a score of 19-23.

This critical moment shifted the momentum, allowing Borac to secure their lead.
