Man Charged After Assaulting Two Women in Dudley Incident

A man has been charged following an incident in Dudley where two women were reportedly pushed into the road. The alleged assault took place on November 25, 2023, on Wolverhampton Street shortly before 09:30.

Richard Taylor, 42, from Dudley, has been charged with assault with intent to commit robbery and assault by beating. One of the victims sustained grazes to her face as a result of the incident.

According to a spokesperson for West Midlands Police, officers responded swiftly to reports of the assault. Taylor has since been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court today, November 27.
