The Therapy Garden in Normandy is set to host its Children’s Summer Holiday Club on August 21 and 22. This initiative welcomes children aged six to eleven years, offering a range of engaging activities designed to provide both fun and educational experiences.

Located within a tranquil environment, the garden features a heated polytunnel classroom along with a purpose-built center that includes a classroom and a refreshment area. The Therapy Garden aims to create an accessible space for all visitors, integrating wheelchair-friendly pathways, raised vegetable and flowerbeds, sensory areas, and quiet spaces for relaxation.

The Therapy Garden has garnered recognition for its commitment to community and environmental accessibility. It has received several awards, including the Guildford in Bloom Gold Award, the title for Best Neighborhood Project, and the Mayor’s Award for Access. Additionally, it has been honored with the Surrey Wildlife Garden Gold Award for its conservation efforts.

On September 21, the garden will open its doors to the public in support of the National Gardens Scheme, which raises funds for prominent nursing and health charities across the UK. On this day, visitors can explore the garden from 10:00 to 16:00, enjoying refreshments and light lunches available for purchase, along with an option to buy plants and produce from the garden.
