Fitness Influencer Dolli Molnar Murdered in Budapest Apartment

A brutal murder has shocked the Hungarian community as fitness influencer Dolli Molnar, aged 29, was found dead in her apartment in Budapest. Authorities discovered her body on January 6, 2024, after friends raised concerns when they were unable to contact her for two days. When firefighters forced entry into her luxury flat in Angyalföld, they encountered a horrific scene, with Dolli lying in a pool of blood and suffering from numerous stab wounds.

The investigation quickly escalated, leading to the arrest of E. Gabor, a 33-year-old man, at his home in Kispest, Budapest, several hours after the crime. Prosecutors allege that Gabor did not deny the killing during questioning. Initial reports suggest that the attack occurred following a sexual encounter, with investigators believing the motive was financial gain.

According to the Budapest Central District Court, Gabor allegedly planned to kill Dolli to steal valuables from her apartment. The court’s press release stated, “The defendant decided, prior to committing the crime, to obtain money by killing a prostitute.” It further claimed he intended to use the proceeds to purchase an illegal weapon, allegedly planning to target unnamed politicians thereafter.

Dolli, who gained fame for her fitness videos on TikTok, reportedly offered her services through a specialized website. On January 5, she met Gabor for this purpose. Following the attack, Gabor allegedly searched her apartment for valuables, stealing her phone, headphones, and a black jacket before fleeing the scene.

The circumstances surrounding this tragic event have left many in shock. Dolli was an active figure in the fitness community, known for her dedication to bodybuilding, strict dieting, and disciplined training. Originally from Oroszlány, a town west of Budapest, she had relocated to the capital several years prior to pursue her career.

In the wake of her death, her mother shared a heartbreaking tribute on social media, expressing her grief with the words, “My sweet baby, come back, I beg you.” Friends and fans have also taken to social media to honor her memory, with one fan commenting on a recent TikTok video, “Rest in peace, Dolli.”

As the investigation continues, Gabor faces serious charges, including premeditated murder for financial gain. The case has raised significant concerns regarding safety and the darker aspects of the influencer lifestyle in Hungary.
