Influencer Kristina Ozturk Vows to Expand Family Despite Husband’s Past

Kristina Ozturk, a 27-year-old social media influencer, has made a controversial pledge to expand her family further, despite her husband Galip Ozturk’s criminal history, including a conviction for murder. The couple, who gained international attention after welcoming 22 children through surrogacy, has announced plans to pursue additional pregnancies in the future.

Galip Ozturk, a businessman and founder of Metro Tourism, was previously sentenced to life in prison for allegedly orchestrating the murder of an employee, Kuvvet Köseoğlu, in 1996. After serving two years of an eight-year sentence related to drug charges, he was released in July 2023 under supervised conditions. His release came after a long legal battle that saw him fleeing to Georgia in 2018 to escape his life sentence, which had been upheld by an appeals court.

Kristina and Galip’s family has expanded rapidly since they began their surrogacy journey in March 2020. They invested around £133,000 ($180,000) in surrogacy services, resulting in the births of their children, including Victoria, Mustafa, and Alice. Notably, 20 of their children were born within a span of just over a year, showcasing their commitment to building a large family.

In a previous interview with Fabulous magazine, Kristina expressed her lifelong dream of having a big family, a sentiment echoed by her husband. “Our surrogacy clinic is amazed but happy to help us with our dream of a big family,” she said. She emphasized the challenges and joys of motherhood, stating, “Each day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family.”

While the couple currently has 22 children, they have openly discussed aspirations to have more than 100 in total. Kristina noted that they plan to wait until their existing children are older before embarking on another surrogacy journey.

Despite the complexities of their family life, Kristina insists that she manages daily tasks just like other mothers. She balances childcare with the support of nannies, ensuring each child receives attention and care. “I can tell you one thing – my days are never boring,” she remarked, highlighting the vibrancy of her family life.

The couple’s recent celebration of Galip’s release included a lavish party at their home in Batumi, where they first met. Following his release, Kristina shared a joyous message on Instagram, stating, “It has been done,” reflecting their excitement for a new chapter together.

As they navigate their unconventional family dynamics, Kristina’s commitment to expanding their family despite her husband’s criminal background continues to draw both admiration and scrutiny from the public. With their sights set on creating a larger family unit, the Ozturks remain in the spotlight, navigating both love and controversy.
