Sharon Osbourne Expresses Gratitude for Fan Support After Ozzy’s Passing

Sharon Osbourne has expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans for their overwhelming support following the death of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne. In her first public statement since his passing on July 25, 2023, Sharon took to Instagram to acknowledge the outpouring of love she has received during this difficult time.
In her post, Sharon shared, “I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media.” She emphasized that the numerous comments, posts, and tributes have provided her with comfort, stating, “None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.”
Finding Solace in Nature
Alongside her message of appreciation, Sharon introduced a new interest she shares with her daughter, Kelly. The pair have taken up falconry, as showcased in a video accompanying her post, which features them interacting with various birds of prey, including an owl that gracefully lands on Sharon’s arm.
She elaborated on this experience, noting, “Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with.” The bond formed with these powerful birds, she explained, is based on trust and confidence. “They’ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”
Sharon concluded her heartfelt message by reiterating her gratitude, saying, “I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”
Honoring a Musical Legend
Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76 at their home in Buckinghamshire, just 17 days after he performed his farewell show at Villa Park in Birmingham as part of the “Back To The Beginning” concert series. His death has led to an outpouring of tributes from fans and fellow musicians alike.
Earlier this week, an all-star supergroup paid tribute to Ozzy at the MTV Music Awards. Yungblud joined forces with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, along with Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, to deliver a medley of classic Ozzy solo songs, including “Crazy Train” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” as well as Black Sabbath’s iconic track “Changes.”
As the music world mourns the loss of a rock icon, Sharon Osbourne’s heartfelt acknowledgment of fan support underscores the profound impact Ozzy had on countless lives and the community that surrounds them.
