Las Culturistas Awards 2025: Seven Memorable Moments Unveiled

The Las Culturistas Culture Awards, celebrated for its flamboyant and humorous take on pop culture, showcased seven extraordinary moments during its fourth annual event on July 17, 2025. Hosted by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, the awards were televised for the first time on Bravo on August 6, 2025, attracting attention for its unique categories and engaging performances.
The evening began with an electric performance by Ben Platt, who delivered a powerful rendition of Addison Rae‘s hit song, “Diet Pepsi.” Fans quickly took to social media, expressing their excitement and calling for the cover to be available on streaming platforms. The combination of Platt’s vocal prowess and Rae’s catchy tune resonated with the audience, marking a standout moment of the night.
Another highlight was the presentation of the ‘Creatine Award for Straight Male Excellence.’ Despite the humorous debate over whether straight men should receive accolades, the award went to Andy Samberg, who accepted it in a gilet and backwards cap. His acceptance speech, which included a playful Yoda impression, emphasized the need for hard work and determination, much to the delight of the audience.
Reneé Rapp, a prominent voice in the LGBTQ+ community, presented the newly established Reneé Rapp Award for Power in Lesbianism. Rapp’s brief yet impactful monologue resonated with attendees, as she humorously highlighted the struggles and triumphs of being a lesbian. The nominees included various cultural references, reinforcing the importance of representation and empowerment in the community.
The awards also featured a memorable segment titled “In Absentia,” where Yang and Rogers acknowledged those who could not attend. This light-hearted tribute included video messages from stars like Troye Sivan and Amy Poehler, with Roan humorously citing a “guinea pig emergency” as her reason for absence, while Michelle Yeoh claimed she was “trapped under diamonds.” The segment was accompanied by a cover of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing,” adding to its charm.
A comedic moment came with the announcement of the ‘Best Batman Woman’ award, where Kristen Wiig donned a wig to accept the title for the character Robyn. Her playful acceptance speech celebrated women in roles that challenge stereotypes, capturing the spirit of the evening.
Fashion also took center stage, with Lisa Rinna showcasing her Outfit of the Year nominations. Dressed in iconic outfits ranging from Demi Moore’s yellow coat to a casual ensemble reminiscent of Timothée Chalamet, Rinna’s presence added a glamorous touch to the event.
The awards featured an array of unique categories, including the ‘Best Hand Moment’ and the ‘Eva Longoria Award for Tiny Woman, Huge Impact.’ These whimsical categories contributed to the overall atmosphere of celebration and individuality that defines the Las Culturistas Culture Awards.
With its vibrant mix of humor, performance, and cultural commentary, the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards reaffirmed its status as a must-watch event in the entertainment calendar. The awards not only celebrate achievements in pop culture but also foster a sense of community and inclusivity among diverse audiences.
