The heartfelt message came as Gallagher reflected on their shared history in the boxing world, particularly during Hatton’s iconic career.

The tribute was made through a post on the social media platform X, where Gallagher expressed his sorrow over Hatton’s death, stating, “Absolutely devastated to hear the news about RICKY HATTON. It was an absolute honour to know him and carry his belts. RIP CHAMP LIVE FOREVER LG x.”

Authorities reported that police discovered Hatton’s body at his residence in Hyde, Greater Manchester, at approximately 07:00 on Sunday. Remembering a Boxing Icon

Ricky Hatton was celebrated as one of the greatest boxers in British history, winning world titles in both the light-welterweight and welterweight divisions.
