Renowned Journalist Dragomir Bećirović Passes Away at 87

Dragomir Bećirović, a respected journalist and long-time correspondent for Politika, has passed away in Podgorica at the age of 87. His contributions to journalism spanned over several decades, during which he became a prominent voice in reporting from Central Bosnia and Zenica, focusing on heavy industry and metallurgy.
Born in 1936, Bećirović began his distinguished career as a special correspondent for Politika in Kosovo, where he worked from 1981 until 1987. He returned to Montenegro in 1988, assuming the role of head correspondent in Podgorica, a position he held until his retirement in 2005.
