Dino Radončić Joins Lejma Korunja After Season with Betis
Dino Radončić has officially joined Lejma Korunja after finishing the previous season with Real Betis. The Montenegrin basketball player is set to continue competing in Spain’s second division, bringing his extensive experience and versatile skill set to his new team.
Standing at 202 centimeters, Radončić is known for his physical prowess and adaptability on the court. He is capable of playing both the small forward and power forward positions. His offensive skills allow him to operate effectively near the basket as well as in one-on-one situations away from the hoop. Radončić began his basketball journey in Zrenjanin, Serbia, before moving to Barcelona as a teenager. His career progressed through the youth ranks of Real Madrid, where he made his senior team debut in the Liga Endesa at just 16 years old. During his time with the prestigious club, he was part of the roster that won both the Spanish championship and the EuroLeague.
Throughout his career, Radončić has played for several Spanish clubs, including Burgos, Murcia, Tenerife, Gipuzkoa, and Zaragoza. In 2023, he signed with Bayern Munich, where he once again participated in the EuroLeague. He returned to Spain for the 2024/25 season, joining Real Betis, where he averaged 9.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
